Service Description

Mental and physical health are equally important components of overall health. Mental health includes our emotional, psychological, and social well-being. It affects how we think, feel, and act. It also helps determine how we handle stress, relate to others, and make healthy choices. Mental health is important at every stage of life, from childhood and adolescence through adulthood. There is no consensus around a single definition of well-being, but there is general agreement that at minimum, well-being includes the presence of positive emotions and moods (e.g., contentment, happiness), the absence of negative emotions (e.g., depression, anxiety), satisfaction with life, fulfillment and positive functioning. In simple terms, well-being can be described as judging life positively and feeling good. For public health purposes, physical well-being (e.g., feeling very healthy and full of energy) is also viewed as critical to overall well-being. Cancellation Policy

When canceling and/or rescheduling appointments, please be mindful of our cancellation policy as you may be charged a cancellation fee. OUR CANCELLATION POLICY Appointments must be canceled 48-hours in advance, to accommodate those waiting for appointments. IMPORTANT - PLEASE READ THIS IN ITS ENTIRETY: • A $30 fee will be charged for ALL No Shows and/or Late/Cancellations received less than the required notice which also includes arriving late to your appointment (after 12 Minutes) • Same-Day cancellations that are not preapproved will be treated as No-Shows • Clinicians will ONLY wait 10-12 minutes before canceling an appointment, (clients will be charged a "No-Show" Fee unless preapproved/arranged) • Outstanding Fees MUST be paid prior to your next session or it may be canceled unless arrangements have been made. • After three missed or canceled appointments, you may be discharged from our care.
